Spanish Mid-Winter Camp
Sunday, February 22nd, 2009It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers [were] as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up [their] voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, [saying], For [he is] good; for his mercy [endureth] for ever: that [then] the house was filled with a cloud, [even] the house of the LORD; (2 Chronicles 5:13)
On January 29 and 30th 2009, Wisconsin District hosted the first Spanish Mid-Winter Camp at Calvary Gospel Church in Madison. The power of God descended upon all of the services anointing the worship and preaching alike. Friday evening, Brother Bill Davis; who also spoke at the Mid-Winter Camp North, spoke about the revelations in the Word for the saints. He was not able to finish his message before the Holy Ghost outpouring took over the service. On Saturday morning the men’s speaker was Brother Larry Romero, pastor of two churches, one in Denver, CO and one in the San Diego, CA area.
Brother Romero taught “Perception is greater than Reality” not believing a lie that your vision has been taken. The Spirit of the Lord moved upon the men with a sweeping reassurance of His plans for His people.
Sister Romero, the president of the National Spanish Ladies Ministries, spoke on the importance of raising up our children under the cover of the blood of Jesus in the end times. The ladies session ended with a deep burden for consecration of our families and reaching the lost.
At the final session on Saturday afternoon, Brother Romero spoke about the “Rocks Crying Out” giving examples of the testimonies through time of what actual stones could say in praise of God’s mighty works. At least 10 souls were filled with the Holy Ghost. There was an anointing that fell over the service ending with an altar call bathed in the Shekina Glory of God. After the service had ended and everyone had left the building a maintenance crew arrived to clean the building and testified that in the middle of their clean-up they looked up and noticed what appeared to be smoke had filled the building they stopped what they were doing to search out the cause of the smoke and soon realized there was no fire, they returned to the main sanctuary and noticed that it appeared to be a cloud that was descending from the ceiling.
