Spanish Mid-Winter Camp

Sunday, February 22nd, 2009

It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers [were] as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up [their] voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, [saying], For [he is] good; for his mercy [endureth] for ever: that [then] the house was filled with a cloud, [even] the house of the LORD; (2 Chronicles 5:13)

On January 29 and 30th 2009, Wisconsin District hosted the first Spanish Mid-Winter Camp at Calvary Gospel Church in Madison. The power of God descended upon all of the services anointing the worship and preaching alike. Friday evening, Brother Bill Davis; who also spoke at the Mid-Winter Camp North, spoke about the revelations in the Word for the saints. He was not able to finish his message before the Holy Ghost outpouring took over the service. On Saturday morning the men’s speaker was Brother Larry Romero, pastor of two churches, one in Denver, CO and one in the San Diego, CA area.

Brother Romero taught “Perception is greater than Reality” not believing a lie that your vision has been taken. The Spirit of the Lord moved upon the men with a sweeping reassurance of His plans for His people.

Sister Romero, the president of the National Spanish Ladies Ministries, spoke on the importance of raising up our children under the cover of the blood of Jesus in the end times. The ladies session ended with a deep burden for consecration of our families and reaching the lost.

At the final session on Saturday afternoon, Brother Romero spoke about the “Rocks Crying Out” giving examples of the testimonies through time of what actual stones could say in praise of God’s mighty works. At least 10 souls were filled with the Holy Ghost. There was an anointing that fell over the service ending with an altar call bathed in the Shekina Glory of God. After the service had ended and everyone had left the building a maintenance crew arrived to clean the building and testified that in the middle of their clean-up they looked up and noticed what appeared to be smoke had filled the building they stopped what they were doing to search out the cause of the smoke and soon realized there was no fire, they returned to the main sanctuary and noticed that it appeared to be a cloud that was descending from the ceiling.

Regional Spanish Conference

Friday, August 22nd, 2008

An historic event occurred on March 28 & 29, 2008. The Spirit of the Lord poured out in a mighty way in the North Central Regional Spanish Conference held at Parkway Apostolic Church in Oak Creek, WI.

A total of 65 souls received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and 11 were baptized in water in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! Spanish-speaking saints from several surrounding states attended the conference. There was an approximate attendance of 1200 people.

The success of the conference was under the direction of Brother Guerrero the Regional Spanish Coordinator from Detroit Michigan and the Wisconsin Spanish Ministries. Brother Hopkins, Regional director of Mexico and the Caribbean, preached both Friday night and Saturday evening services, and Sister Hopkins ministered to the Ladies in the Saturday sessions. Brother Vitanza held a special session with the ministers, in which there were some Trinitarian Pentecostals who were also tremendously blessed. Our youth were blessed under the anointing of Brother Morales from Indiana, and Calvary Gospel Church’s Kidz Rageous team ministered to over 200 children in the kids’ church.

The conference was blessed by the musical talents of the Parkway Spanish Ministries music team, Green Bay UPC’s music team, A.L.M.A.S Milwaukee, Sister Jennifer Choconta of A.L.M.A.S., and specials sung by the singing group Maranatha. As always, the Spanish-speaking music and worship are power-packed!

The whole experience of the Regional Conference was tremendous. There was a Holy anointing over all the services and classes, and many saints rejoiced in the Word and fellowship. What a blessing and honor for the Spanish-speaking saints of the Wisconsin District!
