Thank You

Tuesday, December 11th, 2007

This note comes with heart felt thanks for the many acts of kindness shown to me and my family during my recent time of surgery and recovery. For all of the churches and individuals that sent flowers … you made my home look like an amazing flower shop that smelled so wonderful. To the precious Pace family in Fond du Lac and their wonderful ladies, your meals made my family smile for many days – having a “home cooked” meal eased their sorrow of my not being in the kitchen. And Sister Morey, what an incredible lady you are! You provided many meals; Seth actually took a picture of the food you brought to show his friends … thank you for making the trip to Oshkosh to bring all of the treasures you brought.

And finally, a great big thank you to everyone that sent cards, emails and made calls to me or my family – what wonderful people of God we have in this district. And the prayers – the churches that had prayer and fasting for me … the many prayers that went to the throne for me did not go unanswered! I am alive and have recovered … thanks to the miracle working hand of Jesus Christ and the people of God that were willing to pray!

I love you all and thank the Lord for allowing me to be a part of such a wonderful “Family of God”

Thankful for God’s Grace & Mercy,
