Morey_DSC_0044_sm

The Morey’s are moving to Alabama this winter. After ministering in Waupaca, Wisconsin for ten years as pastor of Gateway Apostolic Church, Rev. Tom Morey, his wife Cheryl and their daughter, Hannah, will be moving to the Alabama District. Bro. Morey recently accepted an offer to transfer to a new position within the Kimberly Clark Corporation.

Pastor Morey turned in his resignation to the church on November 13th, taking effect as of January 1, 2012. The actual move date is yet to be determined. The church is currently in the process of seeking qualified candidates for the vacant pastoral position.

Pastor Morey announced to the church “For my wife and I, we see another ministry for our future in the Kingdom of God. I see new opportunities to serve the Lord as I prepare to retire from Kimberly Clark in the next few years. I would love to be in a position to help in another missions work in the Mobile, Alabama area. Fresh vision, fresh anointing, new direction to do his perfect will is what we are pursuing.”

This opportunity also puts the Morey’s much closer to their children. Their son, Tim, currently lives and works about 4 hours away in Huntsville, Alabama area and their son-in-law, Rev Ryan Vanderford, their daughter Lisa, and grandchildren, Rylee and Jacelyn, have just recently taken a church in New Hebron, Mississippi, which is about three hours from where they will be settling.

Pray that the pastoral selection process will go smoothly for the Waupaca church and that the Morey’s will arrive safely in Alabama and adjust to this big change in their lives.

I AM REVIVAL!

Saturday, October 23rd, 2010

Thursday October 21st was our last night for our 21 days of devotion and Daniels fasting. The Lord spoke to us last night telling us to proclaim, ” I AM REVIVAL”
He said before you there is an open door to go through to possess and step into what we have prayed for. Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard and neither has it entered into the heart of man what the Lord has in store for his people.

This next week is a week to step into the harvest of our community and say, “I AM REVIVAL”

  • You bring revival with you wherever you go.
  • Your hands are revival
  • Your feet and your mouth are revival.
  • You are light that cast out darkness wherever you go
  • Expect revival- and speak revival and God will lead you to hungry people.

Peters Shadow healed people because he was revival. This is the season for harvest so the harvest is ripe….Look upon the fields and behold the harvest!!

When you say I AM REVIVAL , You are saying his power to perform the supernatural is resident in me. For greater works shall we do. For the spirit of the man is the candle of the Lord. This is not being arrogant or cocky. It is stepping into the reality of who Iam. For Gal.3:27-29 declares I am the representative of Christ in the earth. I am the seed of Abraham! If you believe that then speak it and step into the harvest season of promises for the community. Ask the person in the store, ” can I pray with you”. Stop when the spirit tells you in your hectic day to minister and witness to people when you are in the public. For, I AM REVIVAL!

We have already seen:

1. Fingers healed
2. backs healed.
3. People get the Holy Ghost and baptized in Jesus name.
4. People financially blessed
5. Police officers gripped with the power of God all over them.
6. $40,000 of school furniture and equipment donated to our school.
7. An entire Public school system retreat from attacking to shut down our academy and giving us their favor now.
8. People healed of high blood pressure
9. Some have grew the intense revelation by the preaching of Ken Cook that you gain through the losses and the paradox of pain. this is victory as well. Br. Cook shared where he went through a long season of intense pain trying to adopt a child. he suffered many losses only to finally adopt a child in Wisconsin recently. God showed him during this period how to speak the word and hold onto the word from God no matter what losses or ridicule you face. This was the ingredients for our church to foster long term revival at the POW. What a tremendous message I recommend every saint and preacher to get from our tape ministry.
10. God has given our school favor with the catholic Church for property we will inherit and have begun to move into for expansion. FOR I AM REVIVAL! You need to say this to yourself over and over again!!
11.People getting new jobs and new cars during this time.
12. One young man was standing outside in a line for a store and saw a woman in front of him get shot! Right in front of him!
13. Young people have witnessed the presence of angels manifesting themselves in their homes and prayer meetings.

GOD SPOKE TO OUR HEARTS THAT HE HAS CHANGED OUR MOTIVES LIKE HE DID JACOB WRESTLING WITH AN ANGEL TO QUALIFY OUR PRAYERS TO BE ANSWERED.

a) rooting out self centered praying
b) helping us manage our fears
c) making us dependent on him daily from intense circumstances
d) Showing us the endurance of long suffering praying to stretch our faith.

FOR I AM REVIVAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are believing as both Freddie Clark and John Arcovio comes to minister in Milwaukee God will release The Apostolic promises of the harvest to a hungry and hurting world.

Because there are four steps to reaping our harvest:
1. Casting vision
2. Promoting and modeling Unity
3. Executing the strategies of soul winning
4. Reaping the harvest

Impact of 21 days of Devotion

Sunday, October 17th, 2010

I want to report to you what has happened in our 21 days of Daniels fasting and devotional prayer meetings at the Pentecostals of Wisconsin

1. Two women were healed from back problems. They felt pain leave their backs as the word was going forth.

2. A woman who was healed that same night says she understands the importance of water baptism and came forth saying with tears in her eyes she wants to be baptized in Jesus Name.

3. God spoke through prophesy telling us, I am here to heal my people in this place. Will you trust me and receive!

4. In another prayer meeting a young man was healed of a broken finger

5. Another man was healed in his back. He could not get up from his pew and was instantly healed.

6. Another young man was robbed after leaving church by gang members. They stole his shoes, shirt, and his wallet. He walked home with no shoes and called the police. The policeman who took the report began to hear this young man give his testimony about God’s goodness and how he still loved the Lord through his ordeal. The officer was so impressed that he asked the young man where he went to church. The young man invited him to our church and the officer came. The policeman did not leave the service until 11pm that night as the power of God moved mightily in the church with worship and prayer.

WE ARE BELIEVING GOD THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF OUR 21 DAYS OF DEVOTION WITH FASTING AND PRAYER AS WE PREPARE FOR OUTREACH SERVICES WITH FREDDI CLARK AND JOHN ARCOVIO AT THE END OF THE MONTH. EVERY NIGHT SINCE THE FIRST PEOPLE HAVE COME FOR PRAYER TO USHER IN AN ATMOSPHERE OF MIRACLES AND HEALING.

Since our last 40 days of fire we have baptized 21 people and 17 people have received the Holy Ghost.
We have put out chairs with every service full of a constant flow of visitors who come out know where.

Ladies Retreat

LADIES RETREAT: the name just doesn’t quite fit. Every time I attend this event I am spiritually renewed and … physically worn out. Not to be out done, this year was one of the best “retreats” I have attended. The event took place in Sheboygan at the Blue Harbor Resort, right on Lake Michigan May 7-9.

Blue Harbor Resort

Blue Harbor Resort

There is absolutely no way to put into writing the awesome words God spoke to us through the speakers and singers, and through the interpretation of tongues. God is so real and so awesome. I wish every lady in the state could have attended.  New this year, were the breakout sessions on Friday afternoon. Instead of having the usual banquet, you had the option to attend three sessions or have free time to walk on the lakeshore or tour the city and shops or both.

There were three breakout sessions. Bro. Coon taught on “Finding Balance in Family”. We live in a ‘kingdom of thingdom’ where Satan is trying to wear out the saints: fatigue.  We need to stop trying to do “spiritual stuff through human energy”. Being busy for God is not the same as having a relationship with Him.  We have to find a balance.  Sis. Cindy Miller also led one of the breakout sessions “Understanding Yourself”. There was so much covered in this lesson that I am going to just recommend purchasing her books “Character Counts” and “I Don’t Want a Divorce”. The third session, “Recovery After Divorce” was taught by Sis. Karla Gordon. Using her own story she ministered to ladies who need hope after the negative affects of divorce.

Sis. Cindy Miller

Sis. Cindy Miller

Our evening speaker was Sis. Cindy Miller. Her message Thursday night was “Time to Live Generously for God”. It centered around, Mark 12:41-44, the story of the widow who gave her whole livelihood. She encouraged us to focus on what we want to be and train ourselves to be that. Someone who is broken (temporary state) can be fixed. Allow God to do open heart surgery. God wants us to “love God and love people”.  He is not worried about how much we are being loved. He is concerned about how much you are loving. Five points she made were 1.) He is God, I am Not 2.) How you sow is important 3.) Do it all for Him! 4.) We have to trust God 5.) If you complain or do something grudgingly there is no blessing. We need to be a cheerful giver of our time, energy and finances.

Ladies praying around the altar

Ladies praying around the altar

Friday night’s message was centered on having faith and being faithful in everything that matters. Jesus avoided the ‘religious’ people. We need to be spiritual, NOT religious. Each person Jesus healed he healed in a different way. There is no one formula to receive a healing or a miracle. Put faith in God, NOT a formula. As she said, “Faith is how we come to God, God does … the miracle”. Sis. Miller told of her testimony of the trials she went through for three years. Many and most areas of her life were affected: family, church, health, dog, car, etc. She pointed out that faith is not ‘positive thinking’. “Faith is not just talking the talk. It is walking through it.” “There is great power in accepting your situation.” Say to God, “You’re God, I’m not, whatever you choose to do my life is in your hands.” If you can grasp this statement, you have just held a powerful freedom from God!

The Gordon Sisters

The Gordon Sisters

The Gordon sisters ministered to us in the morning sessions. Coming from all areas of the world, they celebrated Jesus with songs and sharing from their own experiences in life. Here are a few quotes from their messages on Friday: “Fear is a choice … God strengthens us if we choose not to fear.” “No matter what we go through it doesn’t change God.” “Choose to trust God … Why not, it’s so easy.” “Don’t tell God how big your problem is; tell your problem how big your God is!”

On Saturday, after more music ministry, Sis. Karla Gordon gave us our “Marching Orders”. We are to rise up in battle with fire in our eyes. And don’t stop until we get an answer. Keep believing, keep praying and don’t take “no” for an answer.

I could write pages and pages from all that was taught at ladies retreat. I hope you can grasp just a portion of what we learned. Next year’s speakers will be Donna Lindville and Janet Showstrand. I hope to see all the ladies there!

District Minister’s Conference

Monday, March 30th, 2009

Once a year the ministers of the Wisconsin District gather together to meet, discuss and take care of business. Some of the business takes the form of voting to fill departmental positions. Some of the business is of the form of receiving preaching and encouragement. Then there is the fellowship and especially for me, there is the opportunity to encourage my fellow pastors to send in reports of the good things that God is doing in their areas and congregations.

Most positions in the UPCI are voted in for two years at a time. This year was mostly the departmental secretary votes. We were very blessed to have Bro. Paul Mooney, our Assistant General Superintendent, as our overseeing representative from Headquarters. The votes were as follows:

  • Bro. E.A. Kaske (District Secretary)
  • Bro. Richard Kielley (Home Missions Director)
  • Bro. Dale Pace (Sunday School Secretary)
  • Bro. Tim Vik (Youth Secretary)
  • Sis. Aloma Turner (Ladies Secretary)
  • Bro. Frank Tamel (Appeals Committee Nominee)

I was excited to hear that in our district, we now have a total of 94 churches, daughter works, home missions works and Spanish works. Praise God! We are on track for 100 churches by the end of 2010.

The Wisconsin district also supports a missionary of their own. Bro. and Sis. Smith from Madison are missionaries to the island of Antigua. They are supported by the district and one of their fundraisers is a pledge offering taken up at the conference. In this time of financial uncertainty, it was wonderful to see folks stepping out in faith to pledge funds for the Smiths. In the space of less than five minutes, just over twenty four thousand dollars was pledged to the work in Antigua. There is no lack in the economy of God!

Mid-Winter Camp South

The Wind is Blowing Again …

There was a feeling of expectancy as believers gathered together to hear the Word of the Lord. It was the 2009 Winter Camp Meeting at Parkway Apostolic Church in Oak Creek. People hungering for more of God, to be healed, to be delivered, to be brought to the next level of their journey. It was a little bit of heaven. In the messages, God told us to get ready, prepare and come together, be encouraged and believe in the promises, for revival is coming with deliverance and healing in His wings. Here is a taste of what we heard …

Coming out of Prison

Calvin Jean tried to get us to think outside of the box using the analogy of a lazy man in Proverbs 22:13, who justifies not coming out of his self inflicted imprisonment because he does not want to face the truth about himself and confront the root of his problem. So he creates an unrealistic set of circumstances to justify his existence. He suggested that many Christians choose to blame the circumstances of the past and live as victims rather than as conquerors. The point is that our heart can deceive us into making all sorts of judgments and choices that keep us impoverished. He said we can be as free as we want to be if we stop making excuses and look inside, confront the imaginary lions we use to justify our laziness, and believe God at His Word.

Harmony of the Body

The next morning, Wisconsin District Superintendent John Putnam, using Psalm 139 as his text, spoke of the harmony of body functions and how they work together to keep the body functioning. Each one of us has 100 trillion cells, 60,000 miles of blood vessels transmitting fluid to maintain life, ten body systems all working together. He said the same is true of the body of Christ. We, born-again believers have not just the functionality of the human body operating, but the very life of our Creator living inside us. He said as members of the Body of Christ, we have all been created with purpose and distinction. However, we could become “splintered” if we begin to think that we are just an independent group and not give heed to the overall picture of the Lord’s body in the earth. He also warned about not thinking we are somehow more special and do not have to work together as long as we are in harmony with the local assembly. As our limbs never separate from the natural body regardless of abuse, likewise we all need each member in the body of Christ and should not separate, but work to achieve harmony for the overall good of the body. In Ezekiel 37: 10-12, there was a shaking when the Word was prophesied and the shaking did not cause the individual bones to remain detached from each other, but came together. “…and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone” (Ezekiel 37:7). Likewise, Brother Putnam said not until the body of Christ comes together can there be a refreshing of life.

“But God is Still Good”

Sister Penny Schmalz, widow of Home Missions Director Michael Schmalz shared both her pain at the loss of her soul mate and the lessons she learned that sustained her in the darkest moment of her life. She shared the courage of her husband and how she struggled with God’s will in her sorrow. She came to understand that speaking negative thoughts would give the devil an opportunity to capitalize on them and imprison her. So she began to acknowledge the character of God and by doing so obtained grace to process her pain. Sister Schmalz presented six points on how to deal with suffering:

1) Let go of the questions and release your right to know the answer. You can lose faith if you dwell on why God allows bad things to happen.
2) Accept the situation. Look for good things in life. You will be able to smell the flowers again.
3) Surrender. Do not blame yourself for decisions made or lack of faith. God’s power is not dependent upon our having faith. Relinquish the past and allow God’s sovereign will.
4) Refuse to wallow in self-pity. You can allow the situation to isolate you from others who can help.
5) Go forward and create a new reality from shattered pieces of your life.
6) Re-invest emotional energy in something else. Move from being paralyzed and get involved in something outside of yourself. If you do this, you will be able to change mourning into gladness, and hope will be restored in God for your future. Hope is a forerunner of expectation.

Failed Expectations

Sister Lois Green, wife of international evangelist Tim Green, spoke in a similar vein about going through the destruction of a storm and having to face failed expectations. She said that when you enter a storm, do not fear if you do not respond in faith, because God will bring you through and in the process give you a new revelation of his omnipotent power. The storm is another steppingstone to get you to your destiny. She said never should we give up on the promises of God, regardless of the outcome: this could be the very test of our faith before the blessing. The question is, in the midst of the storm and its after effects, will you still serve God? Faith in God is based on eternity, she said, not on the temporal.

The Visitation

On the last night, Evangelist Lee Stoneking encouraged our faith to work in the supernatural. He said the Holy Ghost came to mix God with flesh, quoting the Lord Jesus, “…He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do…” (John 14:12). He said the world does not want religion; it wants a demonstration of the Spirit and power. The hour is here when we will see miracles because the people are desperate for a visitation from God. We can be a vessel bringing forth revival if we give ourselves to it. We will find our destiny in the very things to which we give our attention. Availability is the key to be used miraculously. The gifts of healing are what God does through us and therefore are limited; the gift of faith is what God does without us and is flawless.

The Spirit of God moved mightily in the midst of a cloud of glory with healings and deliverances and impartation of anointing for ministry. And there were miraculous signs apparent with one man getting up from his wheelchair and dancing. Another lady prayed that the anointing would heal her chronically ill grandchild in another city. Days later, a stunned doctor cancelled a medical procedure. Yes, the wind is blowing again just like the day of Pentecost!

Then at the leading of Brother Stoneking, everyone in unison shouted unto the Lord Jesus, and it was like the sound of a rushing mighty wind as it filled the auditorium. Clearly, the Lord visited us.

Picking Up Velocity

Sunday, February 22nd, 2009

Winter Youth Convention: looked forward to … memories treasured from … an experience worth the time and cost. I remember Winter Youth Convention as a wonderful blend of Spiritual renewing in Jesus and fond memories of friendships built. But that was over fifteen years ago …

Today WYC has grown to include the young adult population through what is called the Velocity Conference. This year’s convention took place December 29-31, 2008 at the Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton, WI. Over 800 were in attendance in the evening services to hear Brent Keating from North Carolina. Tuesday morning the youth heard from our very own Adam Mundinac of Eau Claire and Bro. Keating spoke again Wednesday morning. Those out of High School attended morning breakout sessions geared for them with Jonathan Mulling from California.

Wisconsin Youth Ministries set aside time to honor all former youth presidents for their service and setting the groundwork for what WYM is today. Those in attendance were Bro. Kaske, Bro. Rogers, and Bro. Booker.

The after-service activity both nights was Player’s Choice, which is a large sports-complex in Appleton. There they held tournaments for dodgeball, basketball, volleyball, and kickball.

Since I was unable to attend the conference I interview two sisters age 13 and 15 who were able to attend the event.

Q. How did this year compare to other years?
A. Kayla: Well, I only went last year, they both were good, but I didn’t like player’s choice very much.
A. Lauren: They just keep getting better and better.

Q. How far did you travel to get there?
Both traveled from Germantown to Appleton, which took about 1-1/2 hours.

Q. Did you go as a group? How many others went from your church?
A. Kayla: Yes, 12 youth kids and 5 chaperones and a baby so 18 all together.

Q. About how many young people attended the event?
A. Lauren: I think around 1,000.

Q. Did you make any new friends while you were there? How many?
A. Kayla: No not really
A. Lauren: Yes and four.

Q. What message(s) stayed with you the most? Why?
A. Kayla: The one when he used the door and probably because he used a door.
A. Lauren: I liked all because they were powerful.

Q. What was your favorite part of WYC? (Besides the guys!)
A. Kayla: Ha ha, well man I was going to say the guys, ha ha just playing. Probably when we went to the mall because I got to hang out with friends and get new clothes.
A. Lauren: Just hanging with my friends that I don’t get to see too often.

Q. Is there anything you would like me and/or the state of Wisconsin to know about WYC?
A. Kayla: Well, I don’t think Player choice was that fun and neither did a lot of my friends (unless they were guys). I don’t think Player’s Choice was fun for the girls because most girls don’t play sports.
A. Lauren: I love WYC so keep up the good work. The Player’s Choice was OK. – Definitely not my favorite activity.

Spanish Mid-Winter Camp

Sunday, February 22nd, 2009

It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers [were] as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up [their] voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, [saying], For [he is] good; for his mercy [endureth] for ever: that [then] the house was filled with a cloud, [even] the house of the LORD; (2 Chronicles 5:13)

On January 29 and 30th 2009, Wisconsin District hosted the first Spanish Mid-Winter Camp at Calvary Gospel Church in Madison. The power of God descended upon all of the services anointing the worship and preaching alike. Friday evening, Brother Bill Davis; who also spoke at the Mid-Winter Camp North, spoke about the revelations in the Word for the saints. He was not able to finish his message before the Holy Ghost outpouring took over the service. On Saturday morning the men’s speaker was Brother Larry Romero, pastor of two churches, one in Denver, CO and one in the San Diego, CA area.

Brother Romero taught “Perception is greater than Reality” not believing a lie that your vision has been taken. The Spirit of the Lord moved upon the men with a sweeping reassurance of His plans for His people.

Sister Romero, the president of the National Spanish Ladies Ministries, spoke on the importance of raising up our children under the cover of the blood of Jesus in the end times. The ladies session ended with a deep burden for consecration of our families and reaching the lost.

At the final session on Saturday afternoon, Brother Romero spoke about the “Rocks Crying Out” giving examples of the testimonies through time of what actual stones could say in praise of God’s mighty works. At least 10 souls were filled with the Holy Ghost. There was an anointing that fell over the service ending with an altar call bathed in the Shekina Glory of God. After the service had ended and everyone had left the building a maintenance crew arrived to clean the building and testified that in the middle of their clean-up they looked up and noticed what appeared to be smoke had filled the building they stopped what they were doing to search out the cause of the smoke and soon realized there was no fire, they returned to the main sanctuary and noticed that it appeared to be a cloud that was descending from the ceiling.

A Call to Re-consecration

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008

Sponsored by the Ladies Ministries of the Wisconsin District UPC, the second annual Holiness Conference was held at Abundant Life Apostolic Church, in Oconomowoc, Friday-Saturday, November 21-22nd. Conference speakers were Sister Ruth Harvey, the National Daughters of Zion Director, CT District Ladies Ministries Secretary, author, and recording artist; and Pastor David K. Bernard, founder and pastor of New Life United Pentecostal Church, Superintendent of the South Texas District UPC, and President of Urshan Graduate School of Theology.

We left the conference enriched and with a greater understanding of why holiness is so vital to our Apostolic calling and anointing. Holiness unto the Lord is about being like Him. While societies change, God’s standards do not. The speakers acknowledged we are living in a world where truth does not matter, but the Church must not be intimidated; it must be salt and light.

On opening night, in a message entitled, “I am the Lord. I Change Not,” Sis. Harvey compared King Manasseh’s transgressions against the Lord to America’s breakdown of God’s laws. Like Judah under King Manasseh, America has done according to the abominations of other nations (2 Kings 21:2). She has set up “high places” (e.g. altar of abortion) like Judah shed innocent blood (2 Kings 21:16). The city set upon a hill has become, like Judah, more evil than some of the heathen nations (2 Kings 21:9) she followed and, like Judah (2 Kings 21:12), stands to be judged for her sins against God’s unchanging laws of holiness. In judgment, Manasseh repented and God restored his kingdom (2 Chr 33:13). So, there is hope that, even in judgment, God will bring revival to America and not forsake His covenant with the people.

Thus, she said the Church needs a greater fear of the Lord in this hour. Those who do not feel holiness is important right now are going down a pathway of deception from which they may never recover! The greatest fear is that the Church will change with the world. Instead of conforming itself to the “image” of God, she feared the Church is trying to conform to the image of the world and losing its saltiness. The anointing will never come by becoming weak and watered down, she said. Now is the time for the Church to turn up the light and stand for truth for the darkness is very great (Isaiah 60:2).

Bro. Barnard preached on “A Call to Die,” which he said was the key to Apostolic revival. He said the Apostolic movement must go back to the Cross and re-consecrate itself to the principles of sacrifice, holiness and obedience to experience revival. Jesus submitted his human will to the will of the Father, he said, and, in this sense, we should follow Him. He said there should be a sacrificial attitude in our lives and that, paradoxically, is the way to eternal life. It may mean to sacrifice goals and dreams; it may mean to be persecuted and ostracized by society, but if we want results, we must follow the path God has called us to.

Using John 12:24 as his text, Bro. Barnard said there is potential for a great harvest in just one grain having life, but it must first fall into the ground. This is contrary to the world’s counsel, which pushes celebrity endorsements and big programs. If we, in our zeal to attract people, somehow relax the teachings of the Bible, it will not stop with one teaching. He feared churches are becoming social centers. Where, he asked, in all of this is the opportunity for repentance, confession, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit?

He made a distinction between legalism and holiness. While we are under grace, there still are commandments we have to obey! Holiness is dying to sin in the world; it is dying to self-will; it is becoming like Jesus. He said if we take away the commandments of holiness and sacrifice, we will not have the same move of God and, after a while, the Church becomes just another program. Therefore, Apostolics need to go back to their roots and renew their commitment to holiness and sacrifice.

On Saturday, Bro. Barnard presented a two-part seminar on “The Life of Holiness” and “Holiness in Adornment.” He said that while the new birth is necessary to enter in, believers must travel on the highway of holiness to reach their destination. And the first thing to destroy holiness is a root of bitterness, the reason why holiness first and foremost is the attitude of the heart, not outward appearances.

Sis. Harvey taught a powerful message entitled, “What Direction is your House Facing?” Using Abraham-Lot (Genesis 13:11-13) and Jacob (Genesis 33:18-20; 35:1), she taught that the enemy will not always come as a terrorist, but he will get us to turn our direction. When we make alliances with the enemy, it becomes hard to pray until those alliances are broken. Her concluding message was on the devil’s work in society to blur distinctions between the male and female genders and mar the covenant relationship we have with God through obedience. The devil wants to dismantle what God has joined together because a sanctified bride is a picture of redemption. She said, yes, holiness in attire does matter. If we do not have on the proper wedding garment (holiness) we cannot be part of the bride!
